Interested In Beauty?

“Fix your eyes on Jesus and the plans he has for your life. Look ahead, and run after him with all your heart. Then look around. Whoever has kept up with you, marry that person.” Debra Fileta ( Debra Fileta is a licensed professional counselor, national speaker, relationship expert, and author of Choosing Marriage, True Love Dates, Love in Every Season, and Are You Really OK? ) So many women have the wrong thinking on what beauty represents. They are looking at the outside. That kind of beauty comes from products from a store. Many people consider these products are masks.  But, in truth, beauty comes from the inside and shines outward.  You see it all has to do with where you are in your relationship to the Lord. Why? Because if you believe in Him, then you know, He believes in you. You also know who you are in Him. You can see yourself through His eyes. Beauty like love then overflows in your face.

Do You Deserve Favor?

What is grace? It is God's undeserved favor. John 1:17 says, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” You see we did not earn God's grace, it is a gift from God. Even though we did not deserve His favor, He loved us so much that He bestowed upon us His favor. Over and over we see this in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. Look at Abraham and Sarah. They had trouble being patient and trusting God to come through with His promise. Many years went by before a child was born through Sarah. She became impatient, as did Abraham, so she took things into her own hands. She gave her maid, Hagar, to Abraham to sleep with so the maid could conceive a child that would be Sarah's. After all the maid belonged to Sarah. That was not God's will, let alone His perfect plan. He told Abraham what His perfect plan was and that He would do it. But they became impatient and doubted. You know they did, they kept getting older and older. Yo

Afraid of Storms?

“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”” Isaiah 41:13 ESV This is one of my favorite scriptures. It reassures me that God is holding my hand. He is with me. He is helping me. What a wonderful feeling washes over me when I repeat this scripture. Try it. Say the words. There is a feeling that falls over you and wraps you in His ever loving arms. We all go through storms in life. They are not just weather related either. There are storms we face physically, emotionally, mentally, spiriturally, and financially. Some can be devastating and some can change our lives forever. But you don't have to go through them alone. He is right there. Holding your hand. He says, "Fear not." Trust Him, he will help you come through them. . We all have storms, physical and emotional storms. There are storms that devastate our lives. A storm can be a job loss, the death of someone you love…spouse, child or friend. Your c

What Plan Should A Woman Follow?

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”Proverbs 16:3 Do you make plans for yourself? Set Goals? I think it wise for us to take a look at our lives and check to see where we are in life. Then we can set goals for ourselves and move forward to achieve them. However, before setting the goals, I think it is important to involve the Lord in choosing the right goals that are inline with His will. You see He knows the path we should choose for goals, the best path to follow. And if they are inline with His will, we can procede with peace and confidence that the Lord will help us along this path to achieve the goals. By trusting Him day by day to lead us we can be assured that we are following His plans for our lives. And he always gives us His best.

Woman As A Masterpiece!

"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." Proverbs 31:26 Who is a woman of God? She is a daughter to the most high God. The Almight God who created heaven and earth. Through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ she is adopted by God the Father, and becomes His child. She has chosen to learn and become knowledgeable in God's words and to spend time communinig with God in prayer. She will focus on her God first thing when she arises. Will listen for His leading. Will tell Him of her concerns and surrender them into His hands trust in Him to work things out for her good. She will focus on Him as she lays her head down at evening, trusting in Him to keep her save through the night. She will tell others and speak God's words of peace and comfort to them. You will find no hatred or unforgiveness in her. She will go to Her Father and tell Him things that are happening and what she needs help with. She will depend and lean on Him th

For Women Everywhere!

Proverbs 3:15 says, "Her value exceeds pearls; all you desire can't compare with her." A woman who loves God is more valuable than the finest pearl on earth. If she is treated with love and respect she will return that love. She will be her husbands greatest asset and the nurturer of her children teaching them the way to walk with God. Lord, help women be all you created them to be so they can be a blessing to others, including their husbands and children. Help their husbands love them fully and unconditionally throughout their days. Show her how to make a loving and peaceful home thereby glorifying you. Amen
