JUST OR UNJUST, WHICH?

John 13:17  If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

MarkAntony1.jpg  Marcus Antoninus said,  "He often acts unjustly who does not do a certain thing: not only he who does a certain thing."

We can only speculate whether or not Mark Antony was referring to what happened to Caesar or the battle between he and Octavian, but which ever it is people do act unjustly. We like to think in our world there is justice, and in a perfect world there is, unfortunately right now we do not live in a perfect world.

What we can do is make sure we act justly in all our endeavors, after all, changing the world starts with one person. Let that one person be you.

Prayer:  Lord God, thank you for the day you have given us. You have laid on our hearts to do the right things You said if we do we will be happy. Keep that in the front of our minds and in our hearts as we go throughout the day helping us to be just in all things. Amen.

Looking For Solutions To Help Our Families and Communities

Smith Wigglesworth was a preacher and teacher. I read an interesting fact on him. He did not learn to read until after he married his wife Polly. She taught him to read the Bible. He often stated, “It was the only book he ever read”. He did not permit newspapers in his home, preferring the Bible to be their only reading material.      I dare say that is a rarity today. When I read this, I wondered how many homes today have Bibles. If they have one, how many families read the book collectively as a family and as an individual? Obviously, I don’t have the statistics on that.      However, that got me to thinking, what if! What if families began reading the bible together? What changes would come about in their homes, their lives, and their work? Of course, the changes would spill over in how we see and interact with our neighbors and treat people in our communities. Looking around at the things happening in all our communities such as ––the violence, hatred, rage, anger––

Your Strength Comes From Him

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2Corinthians 12:9 There are times we feel overwhelmed in our day to day lives. We notice our strength is low both physically, mentally, and spiritually. During these times, we have two choices. We can sit down and feel sorry for ourselves or we can grab our Bibles and start reading God's words. Psalm 73:26 says, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Nehemiah 8:10 says, "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." You can find numerous scriptures on God giving us strength in our lives. By reading His word and reminding ourselves that we can do all things through Him that strengthens us, it will build us up and we won't continue feeling bad because His strength is sufficient. Ble

Worry and Anxiety!

“Now faith is the substances of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 We get anxious – we worry – we fret. Why? Because we look at the circumstances. We probably do not recognize it, but we live in a natural state most of the time which means we are focusing on what is going on around us. In other words what is happening in our lives, our families, our friends, our community, and country and yes, even in the world. God, however, sees all this that is going on. While we are focusing on all this, we forget God can do anything if we put our focus on him and not the problems. He can change the outcome. He is all powerful and all faithful. Faith is believing God’s word; doubt is not believing God’s word.  Blessings to You!
