What Is God's Will?

“Whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” Hebrews 11:6

“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!” Psalm 105:4

Billy Graham said, “God wants us to know His will and He reveals it to us both through the Bible and through the guidance of His Holy Spirit. Seek God’s will when you pray, and He will help you know it.”

How many times have we thought it was hard to know God's will? If He would just tell us. The funny thing is, He did tell us. His will is written in the Bible.

However, if we don't read the book, then we will not know. He wants us to know what His will His. He has plans for us.

Blessings!

Can We Extend Grace?

This is considered one of the great scriptures about Grace. Through God's grace, which is a gift that cannot be earned, we are given a new life.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” The cross made this possible. The question is can we extend grace to someone who does not deserve it? Blessings!

Your Free Gift From God

“When you pick up the cross of unpopularity, wherever you may be, you will find God’s grace is there, more than sufficient to meet your every need.” Billy Graham Grace is the unmerited favor of God. We don't deserve it, yet He gives it to us freely. Why? Because He loves us. When you look at the cross, Jesus died for me and you. He took our sins upon Himself. Because of Him, we have God's grace. We have forgiveness and eternal life. Our human mind has a difficult time understanding the magnitude of what Christ did for us and the grace that God so freely gave to us. I didn't deserve it! It was a gift! That is Grace!

Strength In Him

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 My friend of forty-seven years, used to get up and walk every morning before going to work. We lived next door to each other then. And we both memorized this verse and repeated it every morning as we walked. It gave us a focus on where our strength would come from for the day that was ahead, regardless of what might come. Very comforting to both of us. Paul is saying, that we can do all things through Christ, not that we could do all things in ourselves. It is only Christ in us that we can come through any situation we are in. You know Paul said he was content in whatever situation he found himself in.  Christ did this in him. It wasn't Paul's doing. But Paul being in Christ and Christ in Paul, was able to go through the trials and circumstances he found himself in. Our hope is in the Lord. He came to earth and dealt with many circumstances, and I believe to show us how to deal with them. He was
